This is a story and you're not in it

So I'm a really slack blogger but oh well. Saturday was my Harry Potter 21st which I believe I have mentioned a couple of times previously. It was an evening of great fun and nerd-ness. Everyone looked fantastic and I would like to thank my very helpful helper elves who helped me set up or provided decorations. And to my mother who made the pumpkin soup, and my nan who made the goulash and Dean who made the fabulous icecream. And to those who traveled interstate to get here, and generally eveyone for coming =]

My friend Eleanor made my cake and it was so amazing. Chocolate and zucchini as per my penchant for strange fruit/vegetable/herb orientated cakes.

We ran egg and spoon races and 3 legged races, blew bubbles into each others faces, ate copious amounts of food, almost set my hand on fire with a giant mass of lit sparklers and sat around doing jelly belly's bean boozled beans like tequila shots and carving up candles.

There was a Luna, Fleur, Tonks, Bellatrix, Rudopholus, Owl, Trelawney, Sirius, Snape, Harry, Oliver Wood, Fenir Greyback, Hermione and Lavendar Brown.
